Our business was established in 1974. This was when Patrick Lee, who resigned as Managing Director of a public company whose shares were quoted on the main boards of the Singapore and Malaysia Stock Exchanges, first set up an accounting practice in Singapore under the name of “Patrick Lee & Co, Certified Public Accountants”. In 1974 Mr Lee became the first person in Singapore to be awarded the J.Dip.M.A., the highest post graduate qualification in management accounting, which examinations are controlled and supervised by the six chartered accountancy bodies in the United Kingdom.

On 1 October 2002, the partnership practice was converted into a Public Accounting Corporation known as “Patrick Lee PAC”. We were the first accounting practice to adopt this entity, which we believe provides sufficient motivation to attract serious and talented professionals into an accounting practice, including those who are non Certified Public Accountants.

Evolving through the last 30+ years, we have upgraded our traditional audit, accounting and tax to cover a broader range of related services including “outsourcing your bookkeeping”, “corporate secretarial”, “liquidation, reconstruction & insolvency” and “special needs”.
